I find this strange now because I was not notified of this by tumblr AT ALL, I don’t even have any email from it telling me about it, what I did wrong. When my original futaquestria got taken down, tumblr let me know but this, I got no warning at all. Nothing, natch.

This has to stop. I’ve sent them an email, anyone else who follows or enjoys this blog should send their voice to tumblr support over this as well.
does anyone agree that tumblr needs to rethink its policy of automatically shutting down blogs without giving a chance to the owners to remove the offending content and keep their blog.

^I wholeheartedly concur with this. Nobody should have their sites shut down arbitrarily regardless of the content. Warning should always be provided with time to remove any content that supposedly violates tumblr rules. Too many good blogs have been lost to highly questionable take down reasons and they could have been easily saved with a simple warning ahead of time. This is NOT a difficult or logistically impossible thing for tumblr to do. The time it takes them to knock down a blog can easily be used to fire off a warning instead.
